The Blitz! . . . and Tommy Walsh

Yesterday I photographed the Victoria parks fireworks display, which commemorated the 70th anniversary of the Blitz, for Walk The Plank. I met Pat and Bev (Two bubble and inspiring cockney lady’s who had lived through the Blitz in London) and had a chat about love, life and near death experiences!. . .I also met a pearly King and Prince who were collecting for the Stairway to Heaven Memorial (for the survivors of the Bethnal green tube disaster of 1943). . . and one of their celebrity patrons, Tommy Walsh.

Home made Cake. . .a crisp October day

If you’ve just got engaged and are now looking for wedding Idea’s, or planning your wedding, this winter wedding in All Saints Church was great. From the striking Church in leafy Dulwich (London) to the home made cake and fantastic caterers it came together to be a great day and union of a charming Bride and Groom.

Bro Love

I had a great time last Friday covering my second wedding at the Old Royal Naval College in Greenwich, surely one of the finest wedding venues London has to offer. The guests were bubbly and great fun to photograph. The whole event seemed to be orchestrated, to great effect, by a very laid-back groom. The above photograph is of the best man (The one being kissed!) who gave a side splitingly funny speech, as you can probably imagine!

Islington registrar Logistics!

Had great fun last week arranging this group photo. There were guests arriving for the next wedding up the stairs, so we had to reassembling every time another group of guests walked through!

Album artwork for a jazz musician . . .

I spent this Monday shooting portrait photographs of Robin Phillips, a talented jazz singer, pianist and band-leader, for an album he is soon to release.

It was a splendid day for it and with the use of a reflector, to bounce natural light onto Robins face, I was able to create some striking images. Robin was so pleased with the results that he took me for lunch at the Cat and Mutton. Thanks Robin!
